When you're not doing school and not doing work what exactly are you supposed to do? Find a hobby! But that isn't as simple as it seems, you have to find something you enjoy doing and not just something to pass time.

I've been in a dilemma currently trying to find a hobby to do because I'm torn between work and school but when I have a day to myself or even a couple hours to do whatever I want I'm stuck trying to find something to do besides laying down scrolling social media, it feels relaxing for the first 20 minutes but after that I get bored and want something to do that I can enjoy doing. I used to be fine just sitting down and relaxing scrolling social media but after being at my job for now a year (yay!) that is full of movement and nonstop walking around I find it hard to stay still and I have the need to do something. I've been getting into go-karting recently just for fun and that has been pretty fun. My main problem finding a hobby is finding something that gives me long term fun, I used to. be really into video games just as much as the next person but close to a year and a half ago I found myself not enjoying it as much.

Overall hobbies are a person-by-person case, sometimes it's as simple as reading a book you enjoy, in my case I'm in a long adventure trying to find something I can enjoy as much as bookworms enjoy reading books but I haven't gotten there yet but I hope to find something because hobbies aren't just important for the social aspect of it but it's also important mentally, having something to do and feeling enjoyment instead of just sitting feeling down and bored, but in the end it's all about what works for YOU.
